Roughly based on the character in Leoš Janáček's Opera 'The Cunning Little Vixen.' He's a bitter old schoolmaster, heartbroken in his youth who now hates children. His failings as a teacher dragging his heavy cloak down in the form of his students failed examination papers. This wonderful make incorporated skills ranging from sculpture and painting to sewing and constructing.

Fan-Hyn, a site specific, devised piece that looked into Dance Blast's site in Abergavenny as both a gym training vulcan and it's lesser known time as Henry The Eighth's school. One of the inspirations behind the headdresses that Eve Wilson designed was Henry the Eighth's six wives. The other was the nature found around the area. Using the designer's sketches as reference (above), I combined both of these things together, making two Tudor-like headdresses, with a twist.
